This PlugIn to GrITS for ProcessBook will accept Bailey DT files and convert them to ProcessBook displays. The conversion process will map Bailey Tag Indexes to PI tags in ProcessBook based on a Tag Map file. The companion utility (BUTTER - Bailey Universal Translator for TAG Element Referencing) is provided along with the Bailey OIS SODG Graphics PlugIn. BUTTER reads a TTG file and your PI System and prepares a Tag Map file for use with during the conversion process.

All of the basic drawing elements from the Bailey displays will be drawn in ProcessBook. These include:

The MultiState capabilities of the Bailey PlugIn are quite feature rich. All of the Bailey "ed 54,xx" display commands are handled. Different external symbols for each PI Tag state are possible along with standard color changes per state.

The Bailey "ei 107,82" display command (touch point select - display) is the only touch point symbol converted and it will be represented in ProcessBook as a Linked Display Button. Using the Linked Display Buttons, the end user is presented with a navigational system in ProcessBook similar to the Bailey console graphics.

No control or Bailey configuration display elements are converted. GrITS for ProcessBook supports View-only translations of the source DCS displays.
